This project has grown out of a personal interest in alternatives to family based accommodation for children and young people in care.

This series is set within three residential children's homes across the South East of England between 2009 - 2010. A document of the interior space without its inhabitants, the viewer is offered subtle images of structure together with snippets of domestic life; laundry, the pet fish, a messy bedroom, exploring the notion of 'home'.
